Resort Homes

Resort is defined as a place frequented by people for the purpose of recreation or relaxing. It is in this spirit that the Resort Homes were created in 1976. The Resort Homes are efficiency type units with one bedroom and one bath. Click here to see a typical floor plan. There are some two bedroom, two bath units available but in limited numbers. Don’t let the word efficiency scare you because these units are fully equipped with washers, dryers, garbage disposals and dishwashers.

The price range during our peak winter months of January through March is $1300.00 to $2000.00 per month. Off season rates are more economical. If a Resort Home is for you, please contact us.

The resort homes are tucked in between the Continental Shopping Plaza and Interstate 19. The Resort Homes usually are 4 homes attached, with four units facing inward which provides the tenant a nice and comfortable setting in which to make new acquaintances or renew old ones. Parking is open because of Green Valley’s mild weather conditions.
The “Second Friendliest Place on Earth” is how our tenants often refer to the Resort Homes because of the common center courtyard which they share. When taking reservations we are often asked is “Joe and Helen coming back this year?” or “Yeah, we visited Tom and Carol at their place after we found out we lived so close together.” Each year tenants from all over meet, greet and make lasting friendships. Other tenants use the resort homes as a stop and drop!

Great pride is taken in the care of landscaping for the winter tenant as well as the year round residents. The main office for Green Valley Recreation is located just across the street from the Resort Homes. The tennis courts, which are located here as well, are frequently aglow at night for the avid, warm weather tennis enthusiast. Pick up a monthly calendar and start planning your events for the month.
You don’t have to drive to the far ends of the state to enjoy the beauty. Just check out the Tubac Artist Colony, Madera Canyon’s bird sanctuary, Kitt Peak telescope observatory or Old Tucson Movie Studio. Also available nearby are the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum, Titan Missile Museum, San Xavier Mission and, for shopping, Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Most of the places can be seen in half a day unless you really like to shop!

You can sit pool side and enjoy the lush landscaping which may remind you of home or watch the blue skies turn a vivid orange as the sun sets. After a dip in the pool the jacuzzi is nearby in which to warm and relax, perhaps after a vigorous game of tennis or a bike ride. For that late evening ice cream cone or snack, Safeway is located in the Continental Shopping Mall just a short walk from your unit.
