Townhomes are routinely classified as two bedroom, two bath homes. Depending on what region on the country you are from “townhome” has different meanings. But for our purposes they are all ground floor and side by side. Townhomes here do not share a common corridor or hallway. For your convenience, our townhomes are equipped with washers, dryers, garbage disposals, and dishwashers. They are located throughout the entire community of Green Valley. Rental rates range from $1650.00 to $3500.00 per month. The price range depends on size, decor, mountain view, sunset exposure, golf course views and Tucson city lights. Off season rates are more economical. Contact us about regarding a townhome.
As Green Valley became more of a retirement community it was noted that smaller residences were preferred. As a result of this “down-sizing”, townhomes came onto the scene. The yards are smaller and as is the maintenance. Some original townhomes are in the low 900 square foot range. But as needs changed, so has the square footage because they grew to 1200 square feet and now even 1500 plus square foot.
One thing we have learned about the “senior adult” is that they are always on the go! Townhome parking is normally single car carport or possibly a garage. Make sure you tell us if you are bringing more than one car. Some of the 50 homeowners associations only allow one car. Mail is received at the cluster boxes located near your home.
Green Valley offers a wide variety of townhome styles such as the traditional one shown here. Some of the sub-divisions have their own pool and, as a townhome occupant, GVR Membership is part of your rental arrangement. Green Valley Recreation Membership entitles you to use any of the Membership pools and recreational facilities located throughout the community. No matter where you reside you are always close to shopping, golfing or that Arizona sun!
Much landscaping comprises decorative rock. Coming in red, white, beige and tan, they are intrincally inter-woven by professional landscaping artists around natural cacti and the desert landscape. This maintenance free desert landscaping allows the occupant the freedom to enjoy their Saturdays and Sundays doing the kinds of activities that retirement affords one rather that lawn care.
As you look over the top of these 2 townhomes, you are looking at the Santa Rita Mountains. The entrance to the famous Madera Canyon is at the base of the mountains. Madera Canyon is extremely famous for the extensive variety of birds that inhabit the area. Bird watchers from not only the United States, but Europe, frequent this area for bird watching. So if you enjoy birding, its right in your own Green Valley backyard.
